From the perspective of the Chinese concept of “Guanxi”　(relationality), he believes maintaining dialogues is key. Over five decades since the establishment of formal ties in 1972, the two countries have gotten closer and overcome many difficulties together through cooperation and dialogues, pointed out O’Riley.
